As FCTO’s stakeholder engagement lead, Vanessa managed the effort from concept development to execution and provided guidance to the team to ensure a timely launch on Earth Day. Eric, who is FCTO’s webinar coordinator and IPHE’s web guru, was instrumental in designing, visualizing and developing the competition page and amplifying it through an email campaign targeted to IPHE news subscribers. The competition is a call for students to apply their creative and research skills to showcase how hydrogen and fuel cell technologies can help us create a more sustainable, clean, and resilient energy future.
IPHE, which is chaired by the U.S. Department of Energy’s FCTO, is a government partnership with participation from 19 countries and the European Commission working together to advance hydrogen and fuel cells progress worldwide. This competition is one example of the activities that FCTO, as current chair has been leading, to support IPHE’s mission.
Do you know a student between ages 13 and 18 who is ready to put creative hat, show their skills, and spread the word about hydrogen and fuel cells? Encourage them to visit iphe.net/challenge for additional information about competition requirements, additional submission rounds, and timelines.
