BGS was recently awarded a support contract to deliver key resources to the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF). SRPPF is providing a critical mission to the nation by repurposing the abandoned Mixed Oxide (MOX) Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) to support our nation’s nuclear stockpile. BGS provides key staff in critical areas including filling the first critical position, the Senior Cyber Security Program Manager, who will support the NNSA Capital Projects Chief Information Officer in integrating Information Security into a workable reporting structure that ensures that all requirements are met. This involves working with existing Information Technology, Cyber Security, Operational Technology, and Safeguards and Security components at the Savannah River Site along with assisting in the development of new project specific capabilities in these areas to ensure the mission of the SRPPF Project is executed on time and to the highest standard of excellence in the complex.
