Anna L. Westman
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Anna Westman is the Chief Financial Officer at BGS and is responsible for the leadership and oversight of all financial and accounting areas including tax, audit, budgets, forecast, operational analysis, treasury, and accounting related government contract compliance.
Anna joined BGS in 2018, bringing with her the depth of 30 years’ of experience in finance, accounting, and reporting. Anna began her career with nine years in public accounting, where she developed a strong foundation in internal controls, audit, financial reporting, and tax. Anna consistently delivered professional services to clients and led staff in a variety of professional engagements.
Anna then transitioned to the timber and manufacturing industry where she demonstrated her expertise in analysis and reporting, setting herself apart from other accounting personnel. She assisted the companies in an IPO, M&A, debt and indenture compliance and SEC and investor reporting. Before coming to government contracting, Anna’s position became focused on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and interpreting key operational results. Her work in this capacity provided senior management essential information needed to make strategic decisions.
Since becoming a part of BGS, Anna has helped develop efficient procedures and a strong accounting structure. She provides the senior management team with information needed for strategic planning. Anna is a well-respected leader in the company and known for maintaining a calm and productive work environment. She promotes teamwork and finds gratification in the growth and development of people within the organization.
Anna is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting from Humboldt State University in California.
