Bridgitte Mase
Vice President, Cyber & Technology Solutions
Bridgitte Mase is the Vice President of Cybersecurity and Technology Solutions at BGS, leading initiatives to deliver secure, compliant, innovative solutions that strengthen the nation’s security and energy infrastructure. She spearheads several innovative BGS initiatives, including creating the Cyber & Technology Innovation Center, dedicated to solving key technology issues, design technology using a Security by Design principle, and evaluating emerging technologies for government use.
Mase has more than 22 years of experience and has distinguished herself as a leader in critical infrastructure security, compliance and governance, and technology innovation. Her experience spans across government, nuclear industry, the defense industrial base, and national laboratories.
Prior to joining BGS, she held positions as the Director of Global IT and Cyber Security for Nuclear Safety Associates and Atkins Global Nuclear Solutions, and as the Computing Integration Group Leader and Manager of the Scientific Information Systems Group for the Spallation Neutron Source and High Flux Isotope Reactor at Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
She chairs the Energy Facilities Contracting Organization Group (EFCOG) Cyber Security Working Group (CSWG), and serves on various other IT, Cyber Security, and Intelligence Community Councils. She recently led BGS to obtain the Department of Defense Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, making BGS the 4th Certified 3rd Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO) in the nation.
Mase is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, holding a B.A. in Technical Writing and a M.S. in Computing Information Systems. She has received multiple awards, including innovation awards for the implementation of the Scientific User Portal for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory User Facilities; and a Significant Contribution Award for the implementation of the Sample Management System used to track hazardous material samples.
