Darrell Graddy
Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer
As the Chief Strategy Officer and SVP at BGS, Darrell Graddy’s focus lies with ensuring the BGS strategy is in line with our government and commercial customer’s needs and expectations, that it energizes company’s growth, and propels the company toward achieving and sustaining an industry leader status. Darrell is a firm believer that an integrated systems, technologies, processes, and services approach, coupled with an enduring culture of “One Company, One Team” is paramount to achieving our company’s strategic goals and objectives, while exceeding our customer’s expectations.
Graddy has more than 39 years of senior leadership providing strategic planning, technical, engineering, operational and program management experience across large complex and highly technical International, Energy, Environmental, Defense, National Security and Strategic Weapons programs.
Graddy served as a senior executive consultant at Leidos, where he focused on strategic planning execution, new business development capture plans, and improving program management execution across various corporate programs. Graddy played a key role in developing strategic plans and new business initiatives aimed at achieving multi-billion-dollar results. He also worked on pre-award investment activities to establish integrated transition readiness and risk mitigation action plans, ensuring a seamless transition. As part of this effort, Graddy was tasked with leading the strategic planning development and execution for multiple business operations within the Defense Group. His efforts resulted in a $6 billion expansion of new business pipeline opportunities, strengthened technical differentiators, and surpassed new business win objectives.
Graddy’s career has been focused on developing and leading focused strategic plans which drive results and sustained growth along with high performing operations, disciplined program management processes, a continuous process improvement-oriented culture and establishing customer relations built on trust and delivering results meeting and exceeding mission and contractual success requirements and expectations.
Graddy holds a B.S. Business Administration degree, with a focus on Industrial Engineering from Southern Florida College and completed LM’s Executive Leadership Development, Program Management, Business Development, and Strategy Development programs.
