Don Scheve
Vice President, IT Solutions

Don Scheve serves as the BGS Vice President of IT Solutions to deliver management, leadership, and oversight of ongoing projects, support for business development, and input to strategic direction for the BGS Information Technology business area. As part of the BGS Management Team Mr. Scheve helps plan and executes the growth and diversification goals for the company. He brings over 30 years of success in planning, developing, and implementing complex technical solutions and leading change to align with business and cost objectives. Mr. Scheve has been successful in developing and maintaining executive-level relationships and community support. He brings robust IT leadership experience covering a wide range of environments and technologies.

Previously Mr. Scheve served as the Chief Information Office (CIO) on the Portsmouth/Paducah Project Offices (PPPO) Technical Support Services contract where he managed the IT and Cyber Security scope and functions at PPPO. Prior to that Mr. Scheve served as the CIO at the East Tennessee Technology Park managing IT and Cyber organizations, managing a $25M budget and overseeing IT resource planning. Mr. Scheve led the effort to build a private cloud within the DOE Complex to provide Software-as-a-Service, VoIP, and Mobile Device Management, delivering standardization across sites and maximizing licensing opportunities.
